Who we are
GitMorning is operated by Zentered OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (EU). You can reach us at zentered.co.
What GitMorning does
GitMorning generates automated standup summaries from your GitHub activity and delivers them to Slack. We are privacy-first by design: your GitHub data is processed on-the-fly and never stored. Only the generated standup summaries are saved.
Data we collect
Account information
When you sign up, Auth0 (our authentication provider) collects your email address, name, and OAuth identity information (e.g. GitHub username). This data is stored by Auth0 and is not duplicated in our database.
Team configuration
Our database stores team settings such as standup schedule, timezone, and plan tier. No personally identifiable information is stored in our database.
GitHub activity
We fetch your commits, pull requests, and issues via the GitHub App (read-only access) when generating standups. This data is processed on-the-fly by our AI and immediately discarded. Your source code is never accessed or stored.
Standup summaries
The AI-generated standup summaries are the only content we store. These contain a high-level summary of team activity, not raw GitHub data.

AI and your data
We use Cloudflare Workers AI (GPT-OSS-20B) for standup summarization. Your data is never used for AI training. GitHub activity is processed for inference only and immediately discarded after the summary is generated.
Data retention
Standup summaries are retained for the duration of your subscription. When you delete your account or cancel your subscription, all associated data is deleted. GitHub activity data is never retained — it is processed in real-time and discarded.
Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable EU regulations, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at privacy@gitmorning.com.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "last updated" date.
